Those pants though! Love your list and your resilient spirit. Thanks for sharing your gratitude glimpses with us. BTW have you heard of Ross Gay and his Book of Delights? You'd dig him.
I didn't read them all, I scrolled down and stopped here and there, as if I was drawing cards from a deck :-)
I have a comment about 8 the brown skin I was born with. I was self conscious about it for much of my childhood. I know we are from different places and times, and I know how sensitive the topic can be. All I want to say is that I remember all of us, white folks, being proud of our tan in summer. The browner we could be the cooler! As if brown meant something we were missing... ?
Hi Jean-marc, it's funny you mention how you read it because I assumed people would read it that way. No one has time to read an entire list of 100 these days and that's ok. Thanks for your thoughts on skin color. I have heard people from all shades of melanin saying their experience living with their skin. We all have our own stories and get to read others' too and hopefully we can have compassion when we do.

I did not know Ross Gay and now I'm about to get realllll intimate with his work, thanks for the rec, boo!
I’m sorry you’re feeling down and I hope you feel peace in the coming weeks. 💕
Hi Jenna, thank you. My dip was a lot shorter and shallower this time. I'm feeling back to myself already. The gratitude list helped.
