Me too. I’m glad I’m here. Last week I didn’t fully want to be here but now I’m full on back this week!

I love your brain and the words that spill out of it. It’s great to have you back here and I’m glad this felt cathartic for you.

I always appreciate your real raw takes. And this metaphor was so damn clever.

Keep rising, girl 😘

I was so excited when I saw this come into my inbox I decided to listen to it straight away before heading to bed last night!

How are you feeling now? Seems like you’re in the folding phase where it’s ground hog day and your waiting for your moment to actually become some yummy bread and feel more like yourself. 💕🍞🥖

Love that you see me in the folding phase. I actually think that might be accurate! I may be ready to bake. I hope!!! It’s a new week! Thank you for listening, Mika!

Hmmm looks like you may have become moulded and might just be ready to bake…but first a little patience while we take it slow while we rise a little bit more. 😉

Oh gosh, yes! I love that bread is universal. Every culture has their own version of bread and it’s often shared among family.

I loved this💖 the sourdough metaphors was just 👌 I hope you continue to heal and feel better💜 and I wholeheartedly agree that just plain resting and not doing much doesn’t really help, I’m more into the idea of the 7 types of resting, I don’t know if you’re familiar with it or not. Only one of them is physical rest. I love that you just started to write again and baking made you feel better and more connected to yourself and your family/friends

A great metaphor! Hopefully you are feeling better soon!

I want to start making my own bread soon and I love sourdough. This was a good reminder that it’s okay to mess up, it’s okay if it’s not perfect, and it’s okay if I need to take a break and come back later!
