Thanks, Dona! You should walk into my brain some day and see the chaos!!! Or organized beautiful chaos!

I love this story so much! I’ll be having my coffee out of a bowl in honor of you this morning

You know, I haven't drank out of a bowl again since my retreat :) Maybe next time I hang out with my writer friend, we shall drink out of bowls together.

OMG first of all the last photo 🥰. I think my life shows constant examples of half-full, but my brain likes to constantly remind me of the half-empty, so I appear "brave". I've been thinking about freedom A LOT this week (because of the novel I'm currently reading). How much of it is dictated to us vs how little we actually take for ourselves. I'm glad the restriction of "this is what we have" moved you beyond convention to try and embrace something different. I am a bowl person, too.

I've been on new medication and it's allowed me to see things more half-full, or at least get to the half-full mindset more times than not... because I think I will always look at things on the "negative" side first and I think that's just fine, too. I'm not trying to change what has protected me until now.

What's the novel you are reading? I'm between about 6 of them and I don't mind throwing another one in the mix :)
