I have soooooooo to say about this amazing transformation! Absolutely stunning! There is not a detail I didn't gasp over! that herringbone floor! the double ovens SIDE BY SIDE! the black slab backsplash! the light fixtures! the decor! That view!! you deserve this amazing house not just because of the work you put into it, but because you saw how special it could be. I think the house rewarded you for seeing what others couldn't. More house posts please! :)

I'm so glad I found this because I'm considering undertaking a similar project right now. The changes you made are so beautiful! In the end, were you happy to do it despite the time, money, and energy? :)
Yes and I do think it's because we took our time. The risk in a rush is making changes you're not totally sure about because you haven't lived in the space fully and understand its flow and how you like to live in it. However, if I had all the cash from the beginning, I probably would have rushed to get everything done so I'm glad I didn't have the money at my disposal! What are you doing to your place? Would you write about it? I'm thinking of sharing my home design stuff... I want to show a realistic home and some of the choices I made with designing it.
