Beautiful writing. So interesting. Love how you are simultaneously skeptical and open to exploring ideas, and using what seems right for you. Makes me think I could use some conversations like this. Thanks for sharing with us.

Hi Brad, there’s always a little part of me that is skeptical. I think social media and fake and tabloids keep me questioning — I don’t want to fall for traps! But I also don’t want to close off a world of possibilities, especially if good can come of it. Anyway, everything with this mystical stuff is an invitation. Even if it’s totally off, maybe there’s something in there that can make me reevaluate and invite a new perspective.

Steph, you have an absolutely wonderful way with words and so seemingly easy deliver them. I think I'll start a conversation with my dad, thank you for breaking the ice! Hugs

Hi Dona, thank you. If you see my revisions and first 5 drafts you’ll see that easily delivering words ain’t that easy haha. Say hi to your dad for me :)

Beautiful. Your experience with mediums is similar to mine with tarot. It's an invitation! Do I really believe that some mass produced deck I got at a spiritual shop is magical? I mean...no. Maybe? (depending on when you ask, I might even say yes--I've had some WILD experiences). Ultimately, it doesn't matter. It's a tool for self discovery, a quiet moment alone with my thoughts and intuition.

This is a spot on analogy. But the kids and I pulled cards tonight and it was spot on for all of us?!! How could it beeeeee?! Haha.
