Since you brought up your wedding dress it reminded me of this day- how beautiful you looked in every dress you tried on and how the one you chose looked stunning and natural on you. Perhaps you might share a photo? By the way, I was very thankful and honored that you invited me (the groom’s mom) to share this special time.

Oh my gosh, i don’t know if I have any of those pics, now I need to look. It was a fun day. My sisters still talk about how I choose comfort and they so don’t care about that. If it looks good and it’s painful, even better for them haha!

I loved this and I love your flannel shirt!

Dressing for ourselves is so important. Wow I used to be so caught up in the latest trends when I was in my twenties but now I wear what suits me and what I want to wear. It's refreshing!!

Exactly! If it feels good and looks good who cares if it’s not trendy. Plus the trends go by so quickly by the time you wear it the young kids have moved on to the next!

This post sparked joy! Love all your outfits and excellent tips. You know I love me some second-hand finds and bright colors. I need to check out all these links, stat. Jeans are a real struggle for me ever since my favorite jeans manufacturer, Raven stopped making denim. I'm desperate to find a cute trouser jean in case you have any ideas or see any when you're sleuthing for finds. And thank you so much for sharing my post!! You're the best. ❤️

Loved this Stephanie. I’m allllll about quality second hand and love a good charity shop rummage. 👌The clothes matching skin tone thing really resonated too. My son is half-Burmese and his skin looks so gorgeous against bright orange, green, yellow, neon, basically anything. Can’t stop buying him tie-dye 🤣🌈

Jill! Second hand is the way to go to get stuff not a lot of people are wearing, plus I like my clothes already worn in for me.

It took me so long to embrace color and I’m so glad I’ve turned a corner! I even choose very bright or neon toe nail polish.
