Stephanie, I am speechless. Thank you for this beautifully heartfelt, honest, and vulnerable message. It breaks my heart to even imagine the pain you’ve been going through. I am so sorry that you had to endure that. This also helped me so much in opening up to my friends about something dark I’ve been secretly struggling with. Your openness is truly going to help so many people. You are so eloquent with your words, and I feel you are one of the most vibrant and intelligent humans I’ve ever met! I’m your brother, and just know that I’m here to listen anytime. On top of that, you really need to write a book!!! 😊🙏 Love you dearly—Your Bro, Daniel

Hi Daniel! Guess what?! I'm drinking out of guncle cup RIGHT MEOW. I'm glad we've had all our talks about our own mood issues. You know how it is :) I need to go to you when I need a really good compliment. I will go fishing for those compliments from you one day, hehe!

As a non English native speaker, and metaphors lover, I especially enjoyed the first sentence "It’s a tiny tablet that morphed into a crane, pulled a 500 pound boulder crushing my chest for the last 9 months, then swung it up and away from me." :-) I am happy you feel happy with your normal level of sadness. Those who say it's wrong to seek for such sort of help when at hand and so necessary probably have their own addictive behaviours they would find hard to quit.

Hi Jean-marc. It took me some time to figure out what it feels like and the crane lifting off the boulder from my chest seemed right. Here's to normal level of sadness!

I'm so glad you've found something that is bringing you relief, Stephanie. I can't believe people think medication is "cheating." That's just nuts to me. Many people in my life have been saved by taking medication to relieve the symptoms of depression. I'm sending a hug your way and hope that you continue to feel well. It's always a joy to read your work.

Hi Hilary! I miss interacting with you! But yes, I'm embracing the relief right now. I have seen people struggling so much and won't consider taking the medication for similar reasons. I'm not saying the medication is what they need but I can't help but think if it's an option. Especially for loved ones that I witness suffering for so long. I was there though so I get the resistance.

Awe Stephanie. I am sending so much love and Reiki vibes your way.

The people who have an opinion on your life and experiences are not you and they have no clue what you are going through.

I was going to ask if you tried hypnosis, and I see you have that on your list. I recently used homeopathy to resolve an anger issue. (Spoiler alert for anyone following The Mother Wound series, lol). The flower essence helped me.

You deserve peace and whatever method brings that to you is the right choice.

I hope you continue to experience the peace and goodness of life.
